It's an Oscar! It's an Emmy! No, it's Telly! Porter Henry & Company, IVM, Inc., and Pepsi-Cola have been named recipients of a Telly Award in the Best Sales Training Video category for "The RIGHT Way to Sell," a training video custom-developed by Porter Henry for Pepsi-Cola. The Telly is presented to writers, directors, and producers for excellence in industrial videos. "This is especially gratifying," says Bill Voelkel of Porter Henry, who wrote the video. "We used actual Pepsi sales managers and route distributors in store locations to model the new selling system for route salespeople." The video is used in conjunction with a modular training workshop Porter Henry developed for Pepsi; RIGHT is an acronym for the five steps in the selling process.
